    Amazon Picks Open Source From Pingtel

    I've been privy to this news for a few weeks, and kept it under wraps.

    Amazon selected the Pingtel open source solution to power their corporate phone system.

    Rich's viewpoints are very much on target regarding the importance of this move as it represents an endorsement of both Open Source Telephony and Pingtel's technology.
