Announcing SIPfoundry User Groups - Meet up & learn in person

User groups are one of the best ways to keep a community going around an open source project. They provide a great way to connect with others, work on the project, get help with installations, and network with like-minded professionals. With that in mind, we feel that the sipXecs community has reached a level of longevity and strength where we are ready to start having user group meetups that will attract the best and brightest of the community to share ideas, hack code, and grab a pizza together. So late this summer, we’re going to be having the first SIPfoundry User Group meetup right here in Boston. We’re looking to roll them out around the globe in 2012 and beyond, as well.
Deciding when and where to have a user group meeting is a collective responsibility—it has to be, we’re open source. So please take a minute to tell us where you’re located, where you want to meet up if you’re in Boston, and what types of user group meetings would give you the most value, regardless of whether it’s in Boston or Brussels or Bangalore. It’s a great opportunity to help shape the future of sipXecs. And grab a pizza—did we mention that?
