New major release: sipXecs 3.10

Over 170 new features and improvements later, sipXecs Release 3.10 is now stable and released. It can be downloaded from the Downloads page. Release 3.10 is our biggest release to date adding more new features and improvements and addressing more issues than ever before. The developer team has pushed hard to make sipXecs even easier to install and use than it already was before. Plug & play management got enhanced with many new devices supported. With release 3.10 sipXecs also improved on scalability, robustness and interoperability stretching the upper limit in terms of supported users to 10.000.

Major new features include:

New and improved look & feel (skin) and new project logo
Automatic device discovery
Personal auto-attendant for every user on the sytem
Significantly extended functionality on the user portal, giving each individual user a great degree of self-control
Full localization with uploadable language packs, several simultaneous languages for voice prompts, several simultaneous languages for the user interface, localized dialplans, user selectable language for the personal voicemail system
Extended presence and BLF support
Integration with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2007
Time based call routing introducing schedules into the dialplan
Schedule based find-me / follow-me functionality for every individual user, user self-configurable
New paging server for group paging (multicast)
Enhancements and extensions to the Call Center ACD server
Server and application statistics integrated with SNMP
New plug & play devices: Additional Polycom phones and new firmware, Linksys, IpDialog, Nortel video phone
Port to PowerPC (PPC) and FreeBSD
Updated support for plug & play management of Polycom, LG-Nortel, Audiocodes, and Snom phones
