Written by Administrator Sunday, 29 October 2006 Every country uses a different dial planoften using different prefixes, long distance and international dialing rules, local service numbers, etc. In addition, the dial plan needs to be translated so that it displays in the local language of the country. A good description on how to enable different dial plans that are already available for sipX, or how to create a new localized dial plan is on the Wiki. Local dial plans can also be created by deleting the default dialing rules sipXconfig comes with and create new ones from scratch. While this works, it is often more convenient to create a default localized dialplan in the system as described above. Last Updated ( Saturday, 23 February 2008 ) |
